THE SHADECREST

Every action in combat feeds the Shadecrest — a corruption meter that punishes the reckless. At 50%, you take more damage and lose Stamina. At 100%, you're Forgotten. Rest at a Shadefont to clear it — but resting respawns every enemy between you and the boss. Every run is a negotiation between pushing forward and preserving yourself.

THE MARKED

⚔ Fractured Knight (80 HP)

Block-focused tank. Immune to Bleed. Starts combat with 6 Block. Outlast everything.

🔥 Pit Mage (65 HP)

Two specialties: Fire Mage (Burn stacker) or Frost Mage (Frostbite controller). Each with its own card pool.

🌿 Fray Warden (70 HP)

Soul Fragment economy. Gains resources on kills. Risk/reward resource management.

👤 The Forgotten (55 HP)

Embraces the Shadecrest. Immune to Shadecrest thresholds. Cards grow stronger as corruption rises. The advanced class.

✦ Fallen Echo (75 HP)

Starts with NO deck. Drafts from all classes. The wildcard — build anything from what you've discovered.

Core gameplay is complete and fully playable — 5 classes, 10 bosses, 380+ cards, 117 relics, 5 companions, daily/weekly challenges with leaderboards.

Art is placeholder (emoji-based) while commissioned artwork is in progress. Audio scaffolding is in place — SFX coming in a future update.
